Today was opening gun season here in Ohio. The Lord blessed our family today with this lovely deer. We are so looking forward to the meat going in the freezer for this winter.
Now of course to Tayte this is not just a lovely deer, but an 8 point trophy buck!

Wow that is great! Ike has been out nearly every weekend and has yet to get one. :( But his Boss has generously given us some of his meat.
ReplyDeleteTayte was pretty excited! What a blessing that Ike's boss has been so kind. How long of a hunting season do you have in your state? They have upped the bag limit here so after today the excitement level has gone up and they are already planning their next outing. We will pray for Ike as we pray for our guys. Oh, that our freezers will be full! :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That is excellent! At church, as well as in our home, we prayed for you all to catch some deer...the Lord is faithful and answers our prayers! We will continue to pray for more meat!
