Happy Birthday Ti!!!

This month our little Tiger had a birthday!  It's so amazing how quickly he has grown!

For the little fellas birthday, we went to Sauder Village.  That was a lot of fun!  Everyone enjoyed it!  Grandma B. went with us too!

Ti and Grandma looking forward to seeing everything!

Visiting the broom shop.
Bell kindly posed in front of the sign for me,  thanks Sweetie!

The broom making lady demonstrating to us how to sew the brooms
and explaining how to make one.
It is quite an interesting process!

Essie and her "buddy bear" (as she calls him) Tayter in front of the glass works sign.

What an neat shop!
The glass marbles that they make in this shop are amazing and very beautiful!
They are also very expensive, some being hundreds of thousands of dollars!
Very lovely, but completely unaffordable for all of us common folks! :-)

Titus admiring and feeling the firs.

A photographers dream picture taking spot!  So lovely!
And then when you put three sweet little honey's in the picture, it is completely adorable!

Britt Ann and I (Bree)!
Love ya' Sis!
"Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters..."

The whole clan!
Someone kindly took this picture for us while we were all waiting for the train ride.

I believe this is clothing from the Civil War.
The old memoirs were so neat to view!

Bell admiring the beautiful dollies.
The look in her eye says it all!

The birthday boy in front of a case tractor.
Of course, where else would you expect to find a little boy?!!

Dad and Tayter checking out this old car.
They spent a lot of time looking at all of the antique equipment, machinery, etc.
Sparks all kinds of creative ideas!

I'm not sure what this piece of equipment is, but it seems to have captivated their attention.

Britt really took a liking to these huts that the Indians used
from the settlement section.

Can you guess what these kiddos are holding?
These are beaver skins.
A little bit of history...
I cannot remember what the date for this was, but it was during the settlement
time.  The price tags had markings on them, not showing a dollar price but showing
how many beaver skins it would take to buy each item.
So, beaver skins are what people bought things with mainly.
Beaver skins were actually of more value than a bear skin.
Your history for the day!
(Don't worry, as Mom tells us- that was free information.
We often respond by saying- but we didn't pay for any of it!)
lol!!!

Sweet hugs from Ti and Essie!
Love the smiles on those faces!

Now you're in trouble!
Bell, Essie and Ti are sitting on the bed in one of the two cells in the jail house.
Oh that we only needed a two cell jail house today!

After much fun and several hours of discovering many interesting things and stepping back into history,
we headed home with several tired little ones, especially Essie.

Little Rose still had some sweetie pie smiles left!

Once we got home and Ti opened his presents, the long awaited time had come...
hitting the pinata that Mom, Bell, Ti and Essie had made prior to Ti's birthday!

They all had lots of fun making it, but couldn't wait to break it open!
All the candy inside couldn't have anything to do with it, could it?

Ti's turn!!!!
They had soooooo much fun!

Essie gave up... forget that blindfolded thing!
I love the look of delight on her little face!

They did get the pinata opened up and completely loved the treats inside of it!
Little buddy Ti had a great birthday!
