A beautiful, precious song shared with me by a 'big sister' in the Lord. God has a perfect plan. If we just trust and rest in Him He will bring us His perfect peace and we will be able to rejoice abundantly as we see His plans unfold and the fruit that He brings in our lives!

Tayte wanted to sing this song with Breanna and I this evening. It's a neat song, and one we used to sing and listen to quite a bit with some very dear Amish friends of ours. So, because of our past experience, my opinion is that there is no better way than acapella on this one! Last night Mom played a song for us that I had heard months earlier but had kind of forgotten about. If you aren't familiar with the song "God of this City" by Chris Tomlin,
it is an awesome song that is such an encouragement and very powerful!
But the story about the song is so neat! It nearly sends chills down
my spine. We truly serve an awesome God who works in awesome ways! I hope you will listen to both the song and the story and that you will be exceedingly blessed! :-)

The Lord has greatly been blessing and challenging our family of late with Isaiah 26:3. Last night when I looked it up to read it before bed, I read some context around verse three and then was flipping through part of John as well. It is so amazing to truly meditate on this concept of perfect peace which God ordained for us and has given us in Christ Jesus, if we will only keep our minds stayed on Him and trust in Him! The above song is by John Waller called Perfect Peace. It is taken from the Isaiah 26:3 passage. Very beautiful...it's been played a lot around here of late. :-)
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God:
for with God all things are possible. (Mark 10:27)
This song speaks such incredible truth and was ministering to me this afternoon as I listened and thought on that all things are possible with God...even when it looks impossible! God is so faithful...oh for grace to trust Him more and simply take the leap of faith! May we be driven to pray, pray and pray, believing that anything is possible with God! Do we truly believe God when He said that "ALL" things are possible? I love this quote~ "The condition for a miracle is difficulty. ... The condition for a greatmiracle is impossibility." And our God loves what we call impossible...because He then shows us just how awesome, powerful and able He is! I hope you enjoy listening to the song!
