Jim Elliot Quotes

 As I have been reading several Elizabeth Elliot books recently, I've been struck by a quote by her first husband, Jim, that she shares a few times.

That is such a challenging thought!  One well worth meditating on and seeking to apply to my life!

A new way of looking at your "job"

No matter what "job" it is that God has given you to do, whether it is the menial and mundane or most glorious task you can think of, this is a great reminder to "whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Now, off I go to my "job" of making sourdough bread with an excited and anxious almost nine year old for the glory of Jesus Christ!  :-)
